Foot-care for skin & nails.
Our podiatrists can treat your corns, calluses, hard skin and verrucas. They will cut and file nails, treat fungal nail infections and relieve the pressure on in-growing toenails.
Maintaining good foot care is especially important for diabetic clients.
Visits to your home, nursing home or hospital can be arranged as necessary.

Nail surgery.
Persistent in-growing toenails may require nail surgery under local anaesthetic, if they have become infected or painful. Injections are given to numb the toe and part of the nail is then removed.
The nail is often treated with phenol to prevent regrowth of the problem area. Most clients wear a dressing for two weeks after the surgery.
Cosmetic nail reconstruction.
Cosmetic reconstruction builds a new toenail when the original is damaged, unsightly or lost. The reconstructed nail is flexible and can be filed and polished if you wish. This treatment, which lasts for 6-8 weeks, is perfect for people with fungal nail infections, cracked, split or discoloured nails. Wilde Pedique is an innovative UV gel containing anti-bacterial micro silver. The gel allows the nail to continue to grow but helps it appear healthy and attractive.
