This is a well known complementary therapy to help restore the body’s inner balance and boost the body’s own capacity for healing.
Reflexology is based on the principle that different areas of the body correspond with reflex points on the hands or feet. The reflexologist works these reflex points with light pressure techniques to stimulate the areas and help restore balance to the body as a whole.
Research has shown that it can promote deep relaxation, improving sleep patterns, mood and general well being. It can revitalise body energy, improve circulation and reduce swelling. It can be beneficial in the management of stress, anxiety, headaches, sinus congestion, digestive disorders and other conditions.
